It was a historic day for all citizens and residents of Belait District when His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, graced the Get-Together Ceremony with the citizens and residents in the District. Padang Bandaran, Jalan Sultan, Kuala Belait became the focal point for such an event. Belait District was the second district for this year's Get-Together Ceremonies after Temburong District.

School students were lined up along the route, waving miniature flags to welcome His Majesty.

Upon arrival, His Majesty was greeted by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs as Chair of the Royal Birthday celebration's national committee.

Accompanying His Majesty were His Majesty's sons and brother;

- His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office;

- His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik;

- His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen;

- And His Royal Highness Prince Haji Jefri Bolkiah.

Cultural values and traditions were translated into a special performance themed ' Raja dan Rakyat Berjiwa Satu'. Involving over four hundred participants, the special performance showcased their gratitude and joy in celebrating the Royal Birthday.

His Majesty's presence in mingling with the performance participants will become a memorable moment.
